自由のために日本に旅行! How does a free trip to Japan sound? In an effort to bump up tourism after the Earthquake/Tsunami disaster, the Japanese Tourism Ministry is considering giving out 10,000 plane tickets to foreigners.
You must be wondering, what must you do in order to get these tickets? After all nothing comes free!
All you have to do is fill up an online application explaining why you want to visit Japan, which places you are going to visit in Japan, what you think of Japan after the Earthquake/Tsunami disaster, and when all that is over, you will be required to write a report of your trip to Japan, that will be published online.
Not all details have been released yet. Though the Japanese Tourism Ministry is serious about this and it is likely to launch after a budget has been approved, after April 2012. For updates check their website often.
